“Do you do weddings ?”- Sometimes!

Every now and then I’m commissioned to photograph a wedding. Here’s the latest one for Dave and Jane at Sale Registry Office on a blustery day in February. Although I certainly wouldn’t want to be a full time wedding photographer, I am open to further commissions providing you like this reportage style of photography rather than endless ‘line ups’.

Janet Bell Gallery – Coping artists work for limited edition art prints.

Pemberton Leisure Homes

Just returned from photographing some interiors for Pemberton Leisure Homes  up in Wigan. I’ve never really been one for caravanning but these have absolutely stunning interiors. They have  a touch of the boutique  hotel about them!

Apropos

Another nice architectural shoot for Apropos. Quite challenging

at this time of year as the light is not very good. I’ve had to

do quite a bit of Photoshop work to reduce the contrast and bring

out the best in the available light.

On the plus side you don’t have to wait until 10 or 11 o’clock to get a dusk

shot !

Here is a selection of  ‘head and shoulders’  portraits taken at a supported housing scheme. Despite the affordability of digital cameras, its good to know that professional photographers are still need if you want a good quality portrait !

Trafford Housing Trust

Ripon Road, Lostock – New homes launched.

Just sent in a CD from a recent shoot for Trafford Housing Trust. This was the Launch event for their new development in the Lostock area of  South Manchester. There were a couple of celebrities there from Coronation Street and all though the weather was rather wet it was good to be part of a community event that  celebrated a new start for the area.
