Here’s a recent drone photography job for Ooshot, a picture agency based in Paris. They required architectural drone photography and my usual architectural photography for their client.
The buildings were all in the North West, the brief was to show the buildings proximity to local road and rail networks as well as to show the vast size of these distribution hubs. In reality, drone photography was the only way to fulfil this brief, there was no other way short of hiring a helicopter! This was my first commercial drone commission for Ooshot, they and their client were very pleased with the results.
I now have another photography option that I can offer my clients who want that ‘birds-eye’ perspective without the cost involved in hiring a helicopter!
It’s been really interesting learning a new skill and I’m glad I made the investment to add a drone to my business. You have to take anything like this very seriously. I have public liability insurance and I have the prerequisite Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) registrations and training required to fly this drone.
Drone’s can be used commercially for many purposes from construction site photography, survey’s, completed buildings and progress photography. As well as drone imagery I can also shoot video footage to be used in your presentations and on websites.
