I have recently been undertaking some industrial photography for a Manchester company called Autometers. They make electrical meters and electronic monitoring equipment.
Professional photographers get asked to do all kinds of work but I haven’t actually done any studio photography for a while. It was interesting to get back into studio mode again ! My previous industrial photography work has been shooting on location, usually in factories and out on building sites.
On these particular shots I used a plain white background and a couple of studio lights. The client requested clean, crisp product images. I also had a go at making the products more interesting by adding creative lighting and coloured ‘gells’. I am looking forward to seeing these photos get used in a future brochure.
Industrial photography covers many things, from images of people out on building sites through to laboratories and factories. If you have a project that needs some photography why not give me a call for a competitive quote. You can view other examples here .
